A friend and I stayed here for one night after being on the bikes all day. We didn't make a reservation but the family was super friendly and accommodating. Try make a reservation in advance if you can.We stayed in the dorm as the only guests but they also have private rooms available. Beds were comfy and we had bug nets. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious. It was hard to find off the steep concrete road but one of the neighbours helped us find the entrance.Quiet and secluded.

I recommended Pu Bin to American friends who were traveling on honeymoon to Viet Nam. They specifically requested a non-tourist experience. They raved about Pu Bin! They also use a local guide for hiking and to describe local flora and fauna. Their feed back about the guide was equally as good. Sorry, they did not share her name with me. I personally have stayed at Pu Bin twice. That was my reason for recommending it to friends. I am not in the tourist business.

Highly recommend for someone who seeks a nature-friendly and wild destination. Not really close to Ban Lac, Mai Chau but your effort deserves it. Easy to find the location, remember to call the owner to show you the way because google map suggestion is not correct.Very friendly and helpful owner & good food collected from home garden. 10/10.

Amazing place. An absolute must if you are travelling by bike. Otherwise still make the effort to go if you can (it is just a bus and the owner will collect you from the main road). I was only meant to stay 1 night before I crossed the Vietnam border but I stayed 6 (and would have stayed more if not for my visa)Mr Bean and his family are the most friendly and welcoming hosts. Every meal was different and amazing. Your glass will always be full with happy water. If you are looking for a place to chill and relax it is great. If you are looking for activities and adventure it is even better. I went on hikes round the area (the most beautiful in Vietnam), went on motorbike tours through the local villages, ate with local families in traditional homes, and even did karaoke with a village leader. There is lots of things to help out with on the farm which is great fun and I learned a lot.I booked the dorm but was upgraded to a lovely private room as I was the only guest at the time. (I don’t know why more people aren’t there!)My favourite, and most authentic, experience since travelling and I will make every effort to return.Thank you Pu Bin Spice Hills! Also you will not find anywhere as cheap for this good a service.

Very beautiful landscape, we had the whole dorm room for ourselves, which was comfortable. In the dorm you sleep on a mattress on the floors, but it was very comfortable and cozy. Staff was very nice, prepared good veggie food for us. I had a minor motorbike accident and they kindly provided medical first aid equipment to us.
